How to Invest In Mandaue

NEW BUSINESS REGISTRATION

Application for New Busines Permit

All applications are processed online through the e-BPLS website:

Requirements for new businesses are as follows:

  • Barangay Clearance or City Clearance (for businesses located in North Reclamation Area)
  • DTI / SEC / CDA Registration
  • Sworn Declaration of Capital Investment
  • Contract of Lease / Affidavit of No Rental / Consent / Tax Declaration (if owner)
  • Sketch of Location (no erasures)
  • Updated Tax Declaration of Lot and Building, and Tax Map
  • Certification of Occupancy Permit from OBO / OBO Certification
  • Homeowner’s consent (if in subdivision)

Note: The above mentioned requirement are to be uploaded online through the eBPLS website. Please use 1 PDF per requirement (especially if there are multiple pages). Documents should not exceed 10MB of file size.

Tax Assessment and Payment

After submitting all necessary requirements online, your information and documents will undergo the verification
process.

Once verified, it will then be endorsed for assessment.

You may check your status online through your e-BPLS account.

Once your assessment is ready, a tax order payment will be sent to your registered email.

Releasing of Business Permit

After the receipt of your payment, a confirmation form will be sent to your registered email.

By this time, the status of your business permit is “For Issuance”.

To claim your business permit, you may proceed to BPLO located at the Ground Floor, Parking Building, Mandaue City Hall grounds.

Present the following documents upon claiming:

  • Hard copies of the requirements
  • Notarized Sworn Declaration
  • Official Receipt / Proof of Payment

(For online payments, your official receipts will be released together with your Business Permit)

Also present proof of compliance of the POST-REGISTRATION requirements such as:

  • Real Property Tax Clearance/ Proof of Payment of this year’s
    Real Property Tax
  • This year’s Community Taxes / Cedula (Employee/Corporate)
  • This year’s Occupational Tax / Professional Tax Receipt
  • Fire Safety Inspection Certificate or Proof of Payment
Secure Regulatory Permits
Secure necessary permits or clearances from SSS, PHILHEALTH, PAG- IBIG, SANITARY PERMIT, ENVIRONMENTAL PERMIT, BFP PERMIT and etc.
Post Audit
The Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) will do a post audit. Please secure necessary permits and show them upon inspection.

How to Avail of the Incentives

Submission of Necessary Documents
Requirements:

Evaluation of Submitted Documents
Mandaue Investment Promotions Board (MIPB) Approval
After thorough deliberation of the MIPB, a notice of approval/ disapproval will be sent to the client.
Payment of Registration Fee
Kindly proceed to Mandaue City Hall (cashier section).
Check payments should be in Manager’s Check
payable to: CITY TREASURER OF MANDAUE CITY

After payment, please provide MIPAC a copy of the issued receipt.
